In response to the national high-quality development and the "Dual Carbon" strategy, and to promote the quality and upgrading of green productive forces in the Greater Bay Area, the "Exploring Carbon for New Productive Forces - 2025 Greater Bay Area Government-Industry-Academia-Research-Investment-Application Integration Green Technology and Energy Development Forum", co-organized by Huiyuan Cowins Technology Group Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 01116.HK, hereinafter referred to as "Huiyuan Cowins"), was successfully held on August 28. As a representative enterprise listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that is transitioning from traditional steel manufacturing to smart energy storage, Huiyuan Cowins not only demonstrated the industrialization achievements of phase change energy storage technology at the forum, but also joined hands with multiple forces from the "government, industry, academia, research, investment, and application" to build an efficient collaborative ecosystem and a six-party dialogue and cooperation platform involving the government, enterprises, education, scientific research, finance, and application, providing a practical path for the integrated development of Hong Kong's technological innovation and green economy.

As a listed company rooted in Hong Kong, Huiyuan Cowins also plans to leverage Hong Kong's advantages as an international financial hub to promote the globalization of green technologies. Dr. Ye Renjie proposed at the forum that the company will work with the Hong Kong SAR Government and financial institutions to explore innovative financial instruments such as carbon trading and green bonds, enabling the Greater Bay Area's low-carbon solutions to enter the global market via Hong Kong. This vision is highly aligned with the initiative put forward by Mr. Siu Ka-fai, Chairman of the Liberal Party. In his speech, Mr. Siu pointed out, "Hong Kong needs to accelerate the implementation of the integration of 'government, industry, academia, research, investment, and application' to make technological innovation the core driver of high-quality development. Huiyuan Cowins' technological practices and capital planning are vivid examples in this direction."

At the forum, participants conducted roundtable discussions on two major topics: "National 'Dual Carbon' Strategy and Green Technology Development Opportunities in the Greater Bay Area - How the Integration of Industry, Academia, Research, Investment, and Application Drives Green Technological Innovation" and "Discussion on Green Energy". The discussions focused on the six-dimensional collaborative mechanism of "government, industry, academia, research, investment, and application" to solve the problem of industrialization of scientific research achievements.

As a benchmark enterprise in the business community promoting green technology, Mr. Feng Hongwei, General Manager of Guangzhou Mayer Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Huiyuan Cowins), gave a detailed introduction to the successful cases and energy conservation and emission reduction achievements of phase change energy storage technology in application scenarios such as agriculture, industry, and commerce during the green case sharing session. 其中,「怀来县“碳中和”数字农业产业示范基地」项目成效显著,成为行业关注焦点,系统节能率超逾60%。该项目依托相变蓄能核心技术,通过回收数据中心余热,经转化储存后为设施农业供能,能精准调控作物生长温度,有效缩短作物生长周期,大大提升农地利用率,更推动植物高效吸收二氧化碳,实现『负碳排放』的效果,打破传统能源『用即弃』的局限,为农业低碳转型成功打造『化废为宝、负碳推动绿色发展』范本。
Among them, the "Huailai County 'Carbon Neutral' Digital Agricultural Industry Demonstration Base" project has achieved remarkable results and become the focus of the industry, with a system energy saving rate exceeding 60%. Relying on the core phase change energy storage technology, the project recovers waste heat from data centers, converts and stores it to supply energy for facility agriculture. It can accurately regulate the crop growth temperature, effectively shorten the crop growth cycle, greatly improve the utilization rate of agricultural land, and further promote the efficient absorption of carbon dioxide by plants, achieving the effect of "negative carbon emissions". This project breaks the limitation of traditional energy being "used and discarded", and successfully creates a model of "turning waste into treasure and promoting green development through negative carbon emissions" for the low-carbon transformation of agriculture.

值得关注的是,慧源同创在技术研发端的 布局同样成果显著。论坛披露,其旗下广州美亚科技发展有限公司已与华南理工大学联合成立「相变储能技术及应用实验室」。依托该校在传热储热领域的科研优势,有效提升工业与建筑等领域的能源效益水平。同时与深圳技术大学共建人才培训基地,合作研发「相变蓄能过程高效传热关键技术及自动化装备」。
It is worth noting that Huiyuan Cowins has also achieved remarkable results in its layout in the field of technological R&D. The forum revealed that Guangzhou Mayer Technology Development CO., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Huiyuan Cowins) has jointly established the "Phase Change Energy Storage Technology and Application Laboratory" with South China University of Technology. Relying on the university's scientific research advantages in the field of heat transfer and heat storage, the laboratory effectively improves the energy efficiency level in fields such as industry and construction. At the same time, the company has jointly built a talent training base with Shenzhen Technology University to conduct cooperative R&D on "Key Technologies for Efficient Heat Transfer in Phase Change Energy Storage Processes and Automated Equipment".
