Breakthroughs in Scientific Research Cooperation

本集团旗下中农美亚(北京)农业科学研究院有限公司主导的绿色能源应用项目,携手英国 EPS 公司并整合清华大学定制冬季能源联动系统,成功构建「数据中心 AI 算力余热 + 纳米相变蓄热」多功能协同体系。

The green energy application project led by Zhongnong Mayer (Beijing) Agricultural Science Research Institute Co.,Ltd. under the group, in collaboration with UK-based EPS and integrating Tsinghua University's customized winter energy linkage system, has successfully established a multifunctional synergistic system combining "data center AI computing waste heat + nano-phase change thermal storage".

这是我国首例 AI 多热源废热回收应用项目,经过多轮技术攻关,突破了低品位余热转化与多热源智能调度瓶颈,实现三大创新成果:

  • 能源转化突破:将数据中心低品位废热高效转化为民生与产业用能。所谓「数据中心低品位废热高效转化」指的是把服务器运算产生的低温热水(通常只有 20 度左右)透过热泵升温,利用相变蓄能技术储热,然后导入供暖或工业系统,让原本被浪费的余热变成居民供暖、农业温室或工业制程的能源来源。换句话说, 若不回收,这些热量通常被冷却系统排放掉,造成能源浪费。
  • 多场景应用:同时满足居民供暖、办公用热及设施农业大棚恒温立体种植需求。
  • 供需匹配创新:破解北方冬季能源供需时空错配难题,显著提升能源利用效率。

This pioneering project in China's AI-powered multi-source waste heat recovery has achieved three major breakthroughs after overcoming technical challenges in low-grade waste heat conversion and intelligent multi-source scheduling. The energy conversion breakthrough efficiently transforms low-grade waste heat from data centers into energy for residential and industrial use. Specifically, the process involves heating low-temperature hot water (typically around 20°C) generated by server operations through heat pumps, storing the thermal energy via phase-change thermal storage technology, and then channeling it into heating or industrial systems. This converts what would otherwise be wasted heat into energy for residential heating, agricultural greenhouses, or industrial processes. Without this recovery, such heat would be discharged by cooling systems, resulting in energy waste.

Multi-scenario application: It can meet the needs of residential heating, office heating and constant temperature three-dimensional planting in greenhouse facilities.

Supply-demand matching innovation: solve the problem of spatial and temporal mismatch between energy supply and demand in winter in northern China, and significantly improve energy utilization efficiency.

该科研成果已于 2025 年 11 月 16 日正式落地怀来零碳农业示范园及多地项目,并成功推广至民生与农业领域的规模化应用:

1.民生供暖:为周边居民社区提供稳定清洁供暖,系统精准调控室内温度,全面替代传统燃煤/气模式,每年显著减少碳排放与污染物,助力区域空气质量改善及「碳达峰」目标。

2.设施农业:为北方农业大棚提供恒温热源,实现高附加值作物全年培育,土地年产值提升 1 至 4 倍,为缓解耕地资源紧张提供切实解决方案,支撑国家设施农业高质量发展。

The research achievement was officially implemented in the Huailai Zero-Carbon Agriculture Demonstration Park and multiple regional projects on November 16,2025, and has been successfully scaled up for large-scale applications in both public welfare and agricultural sectors:

1. Public Heating: Providing stable and clean heating to surrounding residential communities through precise indoor temperature control, completely replacing traditional coal/gas heating systems. This initiative significantly reduces annual carbon emissions and pollutants, contributing to regional air quality improvement and the achievement of the "carbon peak" target.

2. Facility agriculture: Provide constant temperature heat source for northern agricultural greenhouses, realize the cultivation of high value-added crops all year round, increase the annual output value of land by 1 to 4 times, provide practical solutions to alleviate the shortage of cultivated land resources, and support the high-quality development of national facility agriculture.
