The Huailai Zero-Carbon Agriculture Demonstration Park, which commenced operations on November 16,2025, represents China's first AI data center waste heat recovery project with multiple heat sources. Developed in collaboration with UK-based EPS and Tsinghua University, this pioneering initiative establishes an integrated "AI Data Center-Agriculture-Community" model. By employing self-developed phase-change thermal storage devices, the park recycles waste heat from data centers for community heating and orchid greenhouse temperature control, completely replacing traditional gas boiler systems. This solution not only ensures stable heating supply and reduces operational costs but also achieves a carbon-negative effect through waste-to-resource conversion, setting an innovative benchmark for industrial integration and green development.

This model operates without external power sources, featuring precision-engineered thermal insulation that maintains cold storage for up to 120 hours (5 days) per cycle, achieving a maximum cost reduction of 65%. Equipped with an IoT-based temperature and humidity monitoring system, it significantly reduces cold chain disruption risks while ensuring the safe transportation of perishables and pharmaceuticals.
